MAAS Mindfulness Scale

The MAAS (Mindful Attention Awareness Scale, Brown & Ryan) measures mindfulness in everyday life — how often you notice what is happening right now instead of running "on autopilot." It's not about meditation but about simple presence: do you notice the food when you eat and the road when you walk.

Before you start
This describes your everyday level of presence, not a grade. Mindfulness is a trainable skill — it can be gradually raised with simple practices.
