Eating Disorder Screening (SCOFF)
The SCOFF questionnaire (Morgan, Reid, Lacey) is the best-known brief screening for eating disorders (EDs): five yes/no questions — Sick (make yourself vomit when uncomfortably full), Control (worried about losing control over how much you eat), One stone (lost more than ~6 kg in 3 months), Fat (believe yourself to be fat when others say you're thin), Food (food dominates your life). The ≥2 "yes" threshold points to the likelihood of an ED and the need for a full assessment. EDs are serious conditions, and reaching out early is critical.
